FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PAULA TELES UNVEILS DEBUT SOLO ALBUM ENTREPAREDES : A HAUNTING FUSION OF FADO AND METAL For fans of Moonspell, Chelsea Wolfe, and Nightwish – out now via Ethereal Work Sounds Sousela, Portugal – Ethereal Work Sounds proudly announces the release of EntreParedes , the powerful debut solo album from Paula Teles. Out now on all major platforms, this genre-defying record marks a bold new chapter in the evolution of Portuguese music, merging the mournful soul of traditional Fado with the immersive intensity of prog, symphonic, folk, and gothic metal. Crafted under the meticulous production of Jorge Lopes at Redbox Studios, EntreParedes is a sonic journey where ancestral melancholy collides with modern darkness. Drawing inspiration from her roots and a decade of experience in the rock and metal scenes (Waterland, Heyhel, and Lilith's Revenge), Paula Teles steps into the spotlight with a unique voice and vision that challenges genre boundaries. From haunting piano passages to sweeping orchestral arrangements and thunderous guitars, EntreParedes paints an emotional landscape that is both deeply intimate and universally powerful. With themes of isolation, longing, and inner strength, the album invites listeners into a world where fragility and force coexist – a signature of Paula's distinct musical identity. “Traditional Fado has always been about emotion,” says Paula. “What I’ve done with EntreParedes is let that emotion expand into new dimensions – without borders, without fear.” Whether you're drawn to the poetic sorrow of Moonspell, the haunting atmospheres of Chelsea Wolfe, or the grand theatricality of Nightwish, EntreParedes offers a deeply immersive experience for fans of dark, expressive music. Album: EntreParedes Artist: Paula Teles Genre: Prog/Symphonic/Folk/Gothic Metal Label: Ethereal Work Sounds Produced, Mixed & Mastered by: Jorge Lopes at Redbox Studios Release Date: April 30, 2025 For fans of: Moonspell, Chelsea Wolfe, Nightwish EntreParedes is available now on all major streaming platforms.
