but measuring entrenchment, so they can feel secure in dropping camouflage

Israeli opposition candidate Gadi Eisenkot:

We will act as quickly as possible to prevent another election and Netanyahu's continued entrenchment in power.

Yes, just like they made up that 2024 was a mandate election for right wing entrenchment.
Are we just totally making shit up now?
November 6, 2026 at 12:51 AM
Yep, because entrenchment is a tough nut to crack.
November 8, 2026 at 8:41 PM
I agree but I would also say that the nature of Senate elections means there is *some* entrenchment

b/c it hands out concessions to fossil fuels that will only deepen & harden their entrenchment.

This is why fossil fuels backs BAAJA!

They are not stupid!

NIMBYism is the further entrenchment of a system of white supremacy and the concentration of white wealth, with "we don't want to give corporations money" as a jangling set of keys while communities of color and queer communities are disportionately affected by high rents and homelessness.

We need term limits for our representatives to avoid this kind of political entrenchment and entitlement.

Not sure the four Zionist parties need to be at the core, given the current understanding of Zionism. But entrenchment of Bibi’s beliefs absolutely is a danger.

Unlike centrists, progressives have a genuine interest in preventing authoritarian entrenchment in America.
Centrists have authoritarian interests and leanings (put kindly), so joining in coalition with progressives is often a non-starter.
nobody wants to hear it but the only real “blue no matter who” types are progressives

the defectors are always, always, the “centrists” and this is true when it comes to passing legislation too

Conservation in action, trying to stabilise some of the most vulnerable parts of the prehistoric linear entrenchment on Sneaton High Moor, after last year’s huge wildfire has left it vulnerable to wind & water erosion #LSG2026

We visited John Cross Rigg to see how coir matting has helped to stabilise the slopes of this scheduled earthwork from weathering #LSG2026

One lesson I worried about from 2024 was that the young vote in the USA had a distinctly right wing populist lean, and with the level of partisan entrenchment, I was fearful this could be a long term trend.

Last night demonstrated that there exists an equal counterbalance amongst the young.

Wasn't he one of the major Democratic political strategists/move makers overseeing a series of moves that squandered & lost the majority during a couple of crucial elections, leading to the entrenchment of the seeriously fucked up electoral maps we have today?

a professional entrenchment- career politicians. Parties should play no role in national politics. Parties should work at the local level crafting policy that serves the interests of the public,

prevent another round of elections, and prevent outgoing Prime Minister Netanyahu from entrenching himself in the Prime Minister's Office. This dangerous entrenchment is already exacting a heavy and dramatic price, particularly in recent days.

“Remake the courts with a senate supermajority in 2028” is the best entrenchment. But also anticorruptions prosecutions that devastate the finances of every GOP donor who nakedly bribed this administration.

Elon Musk should have a long, uncomfortable life in prison.

Some closing observations on our elites and their shitshow response to the threat of fascist entrenchment. www.offmessage.net/p/2026-midte...
29 Thoughts On Election Eve
If you have 2016 PTSD, you're not alone: Mainstream media is still failing in the same ways, and Democratic infighting still threatens to surrender the country to fascists.

Sherrod Brown has been in Ohio politics for decades.

If you are referring to this election cycle, then sure - he "recruited" him.

He recruited him because he's pro-Israel and his entrenchment meant he could win easier than any other candidate due to his long standing history.

I'm from OH.

we should then be asking how this tech entrenchment in schools advanced to begin with , how and towards what purpose education institutions welcomed a hostile tech monopoly to influence all the children under their supervision within less than a decade (STEM jobs) . regulation is not likely
I’m not sure that people who are like “eh, whatever, use Duck Duck Go” fully realize how much Google Classroom and Chromebooks are holding schools hostage

This is a hostile move by a hostile monopoly and should be regulated as such

💪 Across the Globe resistance to the Tech Bro’s attempted entrenchment of AI is heating up.

🧐 Anyone wondering whose interest the UK government serves by declaring AI datacentres critical infrastructure?

❓ What do you think?

People completely ignored the 250-year history of electoral entrenchment and democracy (albeit imperfect) and took the liberty of comparing it to the Weimar Republic.

Both situations aren't remotely analogous.

Many smart folks fell for that when they said we aren't gonna have elections.

That should net us a true multi-party system. It would disrupt entrenchment and make buying politicians way harder and worth way less spent, even if they try.

It would mean change.

...makes me think that if Trump was ever on that track to authoritarian entrenchment, it's finished now. Someone less ham-fisted might have pulled it off -- and may do so in the future. But Trump's undoing was his gross incompetence and a two-year election cycle. We're profoundly lucky.

I think a good takeaway from tonight is to stop treating certain states like stereotypical monoliths filled entirely with awful people. Especially when they have been rigged and gerrymandered to hell due to decades of corruption and entrenchment of money.
