I LOVE how Hidetoshi Omori draws Sakura in this episode. Gives her a nice air of maturity.
(Checks his resume on ANN...OMG this man is in EVERYTHING!)

Also I do want to clarify that @furinkan.com has done an EXTENSIVE job giving us information on Rumiko Takahashi's franchise for decades and is the DEFINITIVE website resource for ALL of her works.

It's kind of interesting how this late in the series and Lum looks more like how she was drawn in the middle portion of the Oshii-era back when Asami Endo was still around!

So BOTH of tonight's episodes are based off the manga this one being Volume 28, Chapter 298 and the next episode being Volume 27, Chapter 289 (despite Rumic World listing it as "anime original").

Reminder that Mendo's father is a WEIRD ASS and I REALLY wish we were closer to the Goat & Cheese OVA because it would have been PERFECT for the Halloween season (actually similar to the later Ranma OAVs, UY has a bunch of Spooky Season themed OVAs)
#UruseiYatsura #Episode189 @digiranma.bsky.social

So similar thing with UY I'm catching a lot of details with animation directors and the manga correlation because I'm an avid reader of BOTH and I'm just noting if some details Rumic World may have overlooked.

But y'all know similar to when @digiranma.bsky.social and I did Ranma 1/2 (again) about 6 years ago that was my definitive rewatch of it and I went the extra mile and covered the OVAs and TV Specials that weren't commercially available here.

Ohhhhh I'm already a fan of May J. and she did THIS ED! Oh, I can JAM to this!

Looks like we have a new opening in Strike Back when seems more metal focused than the melancholy and foreboding theme of the previous opening!
