Former Erieau harbourmaster Jeff Vidler hopes to salvage and preserve the large section of the vessel, believing it to be from a wooden schooner that was likely built in the 1850's.

Took a trip to Erieau yesterday. Stopped by Bayside Brewing for good eats and great beer. It's always nice sitting on their patio by the bay. Erieau is a beautiful little town made possible by Hartley Vidler who bought 88 acres from C&0 railroad.
