I went back yesterday and got shots of this Tiger Lily (Lilium lancifolium) yesterday, in different lighting. When I first saw it in bloom, it was in tight shade.

Another Datura, species uncertain to me, spotted Friday growing out of someone's porch steps in Whitman.

I definitely get Dianthus vibes from this escaped ornamental pavementplant, but assuming I'm correct, that apparently narrows it down to about 340 species. If anyone recognizes it, please let me know.

There was a whole population of these down in the southernmost Whitman, scattered about from a yard growing them ornamentally. It turned out to be a bunch of Garden Cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus) trying to naturalize about the sidewalk. Photo 5/19.
