Prince George, the eldest son of Prince William and Catherine, has begun attending Eton College, the prestigious private school attended by his father and grandfather, Prince Philip. The move marks a significant step in the young royal's education, as he joins a legacy of British aristocracy. The school, located in Windsor, is renowned for its rigorous academic standards and historical significance, having educated notable figures like Winston Churchill and the late Queen Elizabeth II. Prince William, who attended Eton before becoming a working member of the royal family, has been a vocal advocate for modernizing the institution. The decision to send George to Eton has sparked discussions about the role of private education in the royal family and the balance between tradition and contemporary values. While the school's tuition fees are substantial, the royal family's financial support ensures George's attendance. This milestone underscores the ongoing influence of the monarchy in shaping the next generation of royal heirs, while also highlighting the challenges of maintaining a modern identity within a centuries-old institution.
