In the past they haven't expressed ethnonationalism but they have voted for it. I doubt they would change their rhetoric. I think that would be really surprising.

I'd add to that I think it's being fought over so hard by gentiles as part of a broader attempt to rehabilitate ethnonationalism and justify what some see as necessary "sacrifices" they will have to make of universalist values as ecosystems are more and more depleted.

How do the Jews get away w/ blatant racism and jew supremacy? Even so far as to have the UN make claims that zionism isn't discrimination. When people believe their race to be more important than the human rights of others, that is ethnonationalism (rascism). Isreal is tiny/has the GDP of WA.
