Something I omitted from my first book: The original command arrangement was actually WORSE, with a branch from EUCOM (Germany) to JTF Provide Promise (Italy) to JTF Provide Promise (Forward) (Croatia) to the battalion in Macedonia, in addition to everything I described below lol

Of the 169 on my list currently in CENTCOM/EUCOM, 1 is believed destroyed in the attack on Prince Sultan Airbase in March 2026, and a further 5 have not been tracked for more than 2 months. 124 of the remaining have flown at least once in September.

“So we're seeing a combatant commander talking about his area of operations when the other combatant commanders in the Indo-Pacific and EUCOM and in SOUTHCOM all say that they are depleted and they cannot sustain their contingency operations if asked to do so.”
These airframes represent ~7% of the overall strength across EUCOM/CENTCOM as it stood a few days ago. If the movements continue I will likely do another overall fleet distribution update in the evening, rather than waiting until Friday.
