It’s a shame that the 1930s “dutch style” cycleway on Euxton Ln isn’t well connected to the town or to the west, and that like others it’s been downgraded in places to shared use. I lived in Coppull for a while, and there was definitely a missing direct connection from Tesco to Euxton Ln.

Haha I used to live in Euxton. Talbot is a decent boozer. Used to sponsor my football team, Euxton Villa, so we went in after games. That was a one off when it was one of the only places open after lockdown to be fair. Load of folks from other areas descended from what I heard on the street 🤷

I know Euston well, I worked in Chorley. You used to be able to get to Euxton via the services, but they blocked it off, too many users.

A few yrs ago - before I had a satnav - I was going to stay w a friend at Euxton, messed up at the junction, found myself back on the M6 but south-bound & had to go back to the Wigan junction to turn round. 🙄
