We’ve used EVerify for employment authorization since 2012. I’ve never seen a country’s temporary protected status revoked - we got 5 revocations in the last week.

Notably, Nebraska only requires it for the state and its contractors.
So, if they're raiding an employer who used it voluntarily, it bodes poorly for their progress towards their quotas.

There's a really simple fix to this. Make eVerify a requirement for all potential employees. The eVerify system has been around for at least 15 years. If the employers don't use eVerify to confirm the status of an employee, there should be penalties on a graduated scale, up to business closure.

ICE is asking us to believe that multiple states, cities, counties, and school districts around the country, using background checks, local school board hiring practices, recruiting firms, I-9 checks and Everify were all duped for over 20 years.

Our neighborhood Spanish immersion daycare hung up this sign because at another one of their locations in Minneapolis, the same day Renee Good was murdered, ICE agents came in and snatched two teachers in front of the kids.

The feds could have required eVerify for any job in the US years ago. But that increases the employer’s accountability and could result in prosecuting businesses instead of the poor and vulnerable.

I don’t know this situation at all - but many undocumented workers were documented at one point (when they got the job) so employers may not even know - they need to implement Everify for real and then hold employers accountable (GOP hates Everify because it holds employers accountable)
