One of my least favorite mechanics in TTRPGs is the gamification of Wealth. I feel like it kills story telling potential if PCs are expected to be fabulously wealthy by the end of the story, and I hate tracking money. I’ve been looking at games like Coyote and Crow for inspiration. #TTRPG #Eversaga

I did it.
My Tabletop RPG, Eversaga, is FINALLY in a place where I think it’s ready for testing. I know there will be a lot to update and it’s still a long road ahead, but I’ve got like 400 pages of rules and lore and stuff, and I’m feeling GOOD about it!

One of the things that’s I’m deliberating and iterating on a lot in Eversaga is rewards, specifically cash. One thing I don’t like about many TTRPGs is how money devolves from an actual part of the world to a points-based character building option. (1/2)

Question for people—do people *like* the elemental planes as a concept? I was working on some ideas for them in Eversaga, and I feel super disinterested. They kinda feel very paint-by-the-numbers and they don't always feel like they live up to their core fantasy.
