We prefer not to wait for health problems to worsen before intervening. An EFR community paramedic checks a woman’s blood pressure before participating in a Friends on Foot Walk with Evergreen Park & Rec Dist., which help our residents age on their own terms. #Everything4You

EFR was dispatched to “smoke” coming from a chicken coop. Actually a propane tank had rolled down a hill & knocked over the coop. The off-gassing appeared to be smoke & once the tank was turned off, crews began rescuing the chickens. Happy to say, all 5 chickens survived. #Everything4You #Chickens

In 2023 the 90th percentile response time of EFR Engine 132 was over 14 min. After adding 6 full-time firefighters to the roster in 2024, the time dropped to just over 5 min. That means a fire engine is on its way to support our neighborhood volunteer firefighters much faster. #Everything4You
