Its crazy the faulty senate's executive committee didn't push back on this. It doesn't appear they even shared info w/ the full senate. Faculty senates need major reform. Admin love senate exec committees because they are set up to make calls w/out consulting full senate. Time to eliminate excoms?

Thanks for posting this. As the only survivor of the first ICTV exec comm (PCNV in those days) I have opinions. The whole virus tax/nom scene is a disaster area. Recently successive excoms of people with no basic knowledge of biological tax/nom, have pushed their own specialist agenda

Good read on dynamics in the AES. 4 having managed a reintegration project 4 excoms in Niger, they seldom work lacking a larger development framework. Excom’s won’t stay put 4 50K XOF/month not when jihadis give them more cash, the keys to a jeep & a Kalashnikov. Worthy shot but it's in the dark.

Themes that stick out:

Ordination (giving or receiving) without approval, circumstances surrounding abortion, ordaining women, performing ssm ceremony will get excoms but seem to mostly get forgiven/overturned (assuming reconciliation)
