Kochi: Veena T, daughter of former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, appeared before the ED in Kochi  Thursday for the second time in a money laundering case linked to her now-defunct IT firm Exalogic Solutions Pvt Ltd and CMRL. Veena arrived at the ED office here at around 9.20 am, sources said. She was questioned for over nine hours by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) June 17 in connection with the case registered under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

The officials reportedly conducted the search at Pinarayi Vijayan's rented house in Thiruvananthapuram as well as the CPI(M) leader's home in Kannur's Dharmadom.

The company has been under the probe agency's scanner over allegations that it made illegal payments to Exalogic Solutions, an IT company owned by Veena Thaikkandiyil.
