Year 11 had a go at hidden equation GCSE questions. I found that despite being able to solve equations giving them one that was hidden in a problem caused it to all fall apart.

Much prefer the AQA spec. I like the Cambridge oup books. You can get online versions fairly cheap with worked solutions. Exampro is great for grabbing quick exam practise. Don't forget the examiners report tab, lots of insights there

I think a lot of the questions are re-used old spec so you can find those ones on exampro. Others were made up for the current spec. I had @susanwhitehouse.bsky.social do a solution for the salt tanks question on differential equations and it isn't very neat and tidy.

I'm looking to create end of topic tests for KS3 eg angles (measuring, estimating, angles on line/point etc). I've tried Exampro, but the questions are too hard in places. What do people use to create these kinds of tests?

8/ One thing I would mention, is that this needs to be planned. Don't just print off any old question from ExamWizard or ExamPro but instead, think what topics/concepts have the students struggled with and get it under the visualiser, annotate, circulate whilst they answer.
