The Pearl Bush

Amazing poise and grace,
This shrub can truly embrace.
Their beauty shines so bright,
Bathed in plumes of dazzling white.

Phoyo of a branch of Pearlbush "The Bride". The cluster of large, five-petaled white flowers is the focal point. The petals appear slightly papery with a subtle greenish-yellow center where the stamens are located. In the upper right, you can see small, round, creamy-white flower buds that resemble pearls, which gives the plant its common name. To the left of the main flower cluster is a woody stem bearing dried, star-shaped seed capsules from a previous season. The plant is shown against a backdrop of small grey and brown gravel, highlighting its growth as a garden shrub.
