Just a couple 📷's from the wider town of Poppi. There are so many stunning towns in Tuscany full of history, good food and stunning architecture. I could visit 100s of times and see something new every time!

The marble wheel of il carroccio in the loggia del porcellino. This was used to punish insolvent debtors by hitting their 'culo' (backside 🍑) on the wheel!

In 1601, the golden ball on top of the Duomo's structure, was struck by lightning and fell from the dome...this white marble circle marks the spot it fell. Such a fun little hidden gem. #HiddenFlorence #ExploreTuscany
