#Extracurriculars
the people that undergo this process are the ones being targeted by laws that push them out of participation in normal public life, with a special focus on barring kids that transition from participation in extracurriculars that strengthen social bonds
part of the problem is that a lot of libs don't seem to understand there are people that actually inject estrogen into their bodies and undergo radical changes to their physiological development and are not just eccentrics politely asking to be referred to differently in speech
your "real" biological sex is determined by the testosterone levels you would have if we were to play pretend and imagine your hormonal transition wasn't happening

that is CORRECT (also someone did link to a study showing parents drop kids off in the morning way more often than they pick them up - is having kids walk home in the dark after extracurriculars *better*?)

A scary collision between John Collins and Adem Bona, who had some extracurriculars in Philly during the opening week of the season. Collins checked on Bona, who was holding his neck, and embraced him afterwards.

Or at the vary least, requiring that young girls be "physically examined" for extracurriculars should make you turn around and consider other options.

I had a good class today but I wish other teachers wouldn't pull out 90% of my class for her extracurriculars.

Wish I could go. Work really cramps my extracurriculars!

These kids are being set up to fail. So many kids need extracurriculars to motivate them to excel–or at least show up–for the academics. They're gonna fall through the cracks. It absolutely breaks my heart.

yeah kids love going home from school in total darkness instead of having light to do extracurriculars and play in

Great shirt. The “South” & “Hillbilly” ones are also bangers but can sometimes require explanation and tonight that might lead to, let’s call it extracurriculars.

unironically: abolish homework.

kids are already learning for the same amount of time adults work shifts. homework is just busywork and contributes to mental health problems in youth who may already be doing other stuff after school (extracurriculars, taking care of younger siblings, etc.)
What's your most ridiculous, newly emboldened political demand?

(Absurd answers only.)

I woke up at 4am and couldn’t go back to sleep, Wednesdays are half days for us, and it was raining all day (but we had extracurriculars we had to get to). I feel you!

Hang on just gotta get JS certified before studying for python certification to help me land interviews while trying to work on gamedev and a fulltime job & also be a conscientious husband & father & home chores & admin & keep on top of their clubs & the school curriculars & extracurriculars & plann

In class, at least. They did have more energy for extracurriculars for sure.

Whenever I think “I just don’t have the time” I think back to me being in high school/college working full time, juggling responsibilities at home, commuting over 2 hours by bus each way, extracurriculars, and having a gf/bf & wonder HOW TF DID I DO IT?!

I wake up pre-tired THINKING about work! 😭

Wasn't sure until I saw someone mention shot put. I'm strong and also a good sprinter, but track and field conflicted with other extracurriculars, so I never got into it.
We're going need a distraction today.

Which athletic skill, had you developed it to the best of your ability, do you think could have gotten you the farthest in that sport?

I was a decent kicker in rugby. I feel like I could have been a NAIA kicker in college ~maybe~ with the proper instruction

Also re how we’re dealing with these kids on Saturday: because we’re insane, we’re doing morning extracurriculars, THEN Cox Farms, THEN trick or treating, and praying that the kids are more exhausted than we are.

are you going to @yimby.town in raleigh this month? let's hang out. here's where you'll find me both at the conference and after hours. I'm stoked to bring back Queer Homeroom, which was a big hit last year, as well as a happy hour with our friends at Equality NC–

I'm not minimizing that. And I'm not talking abt trans Men. I'm saying trans boys/youth also face safety/risk & inclusion/othering issues re: bathrooms, locker rooms, school, extracurriculars, travel, social stuff. It's hideous for society, politics, & any proposed laws to target ANY of our kids.

Mientras cumpla con el curso y opos, me permitiré extracurriculars a ver si puedo a sacar de mi cerebro de una manera respondable de estar maldito a algo más normal
October 29, 2026 at 7:28 PM
i wish work had extracurriculars so i could just fuck off to a neighboring town on a random tuesday

MCKAYLEIGHGHGHGH IS GREATER THAN 100M FROM HOME AND IS NOT IN TRANSIT TO SCHOOL OR EXTRACURRICULARS

I’ve been on the 17 year old about money and how if he wants to spend like he is rich he needs to get a job because no.

They are having a Halloween party in one of his extracurriculars today. I see a cc charge come through for $70. I’m about to set it off. He knows the boundaries of this.

😈Couldn't help but start chapter 6. Of course Kione would be deeply uncomfortable with the developing sense of community in Leukon base including her. Easier to keep her mask up if she's got some distance.

To say nothing of her extracurriculars. I don't think that charade will keep up...

Bus service, extracurriculars on the chopping block if school referendums fail
