It's really weird going back to classic GTAs and seeing how tame they are. Not just in regards to violence but also with profanity. I think there are more F-bombs dropped in a single dialog in GTAV than there are in the whole of GTA3 and GTAVC combined.

It’s kinda wild thinking about a time when those executions were considered “Too violent” for an M rated game.

Nowadays those sequences would be considered tame compared to the torture sequence in GTA 5 and the “No Russian” mission in the OG MW 2.
