What is this? A crossover episode? Nah i moved kalypso into the same universe as lightning! I have a OC and a FFXIV version of her! Same character but can be used interchangeably in OC stuff and FFXIV related stuff since she is still very much my wol.

Now whats going on here 👀

#art #F73comic
Work in progress of a digital sketch depicting two of my ocs: Lightning a wolfdog being startled by kalypso a woman who is part bunny, she seems to be curious about lightning or rather who is possessing lightning’s body/soul.

Finally back to arting, medicine been helping fight the itch.

Means i can start on a commission AND work on the Halloween piece for tomorrow…speaking of which

#F73comic #wipart #Halloweenart #digitalart
Fullbody digital work in progress sketch of my wolfdog oc lightning, she’s in a default like pose except there is something amiss. She looks exhausted/tired (she is sick), her eyes have bags under em, her right back leg has a massive hole in it, it’s suggested to be a injury however its likely not. Otherwise she seems fine. Second is now a major change, its second phase of her ailment. Her eyes are so far sunken back they are no longer visible, she has lost appetite and in turn has gotten immensely thin, the hole on her back right paw is now decayed and has begun to reveal bone.

Final custom design for now! Idk when I’m opening comms again!

Capybara custom done for @/shikyandi.bsky.social!

He will be appearing in the comic later down the line!

#art #digitalart #F73comic #animaloc #OCsky #ocart
Reference sheet depicting a blue and yellow marked capybara. His markings consist of stars and moons in yellow and lighter shade of blue. One of his signature design traits is his mustache even tho he is not old! He tends to wear a sleeping hat (think the type of hat kirby wears when he inhales the sleeping enemy) along with a blanket and pillow that is mint colored and decorated with brown colored coffee beans, pots and mugs as the pattern design on both his blanket and hat. He tends to carry around a candle lamp in the shape of a elephant.

I promise the environment and setting will change eventually, i know the white walls and bland monochrome tiles is nothing to write home about but i want to take my time with this.

Digital sketch wip of the next page of F73. Depicts 3 panels. Top left depicts lightning firing her corrosive electrical blast attack at archi (spider) who jumps out of the way, second top right panel depicts lightning suddenly stopping abruptly mid charge as she hears an internal voice in her mind say “LOOK BEHIND YOU” in black and red coloring while firecat calls out to her bestie “!WAIT!”. EEEE I WAS GIVEN PERMISSION TO POST THESEEE

UPDATED REFERENCE SHEETS OF LIGHTNING’S HUMAN FORM AND NEITH’S WHO NEEDED ONE IN GENERAL!

THANKS @shikyandi.bsky.social BESTIE!!

#art #F73comic #digitalart
A fully detailed flat colored reference sheet of lightning’s human form. Theres a front and back angle, a bustshot of her signing “lightning” in the middle. She’s a blonde with slightly darker blonde tips. Egyptian Goddess neith’s reference sheet. She’s a nice dark tanned skin woman, she has pupiless and irisless eyes, they’re just a teal-greenish sclera (she’s not blind, its to showcase her ethereal nature). Her bow has a set of orb weaver spiders and she has two different headdresses for different occasions. one is a more signature egyptian look and the second one is a more spider themed one. She’s goddess of weaving and spiders.

In this anubis is a female! Several other iconic Egyptian gods are also female! So yes anubis in this case is a gal 😆

Digital sketch, depicts a cropped bit of a comic panel. In the panel is a close up of archillies (a play on achilles + chill + arctic) a jumping spider x wolf spider hybrid. He is looking rather annoyed as he replies with “Sorry. But the obituary isn’t run by anubis herself. Death will not have me today.”

When i spot the mf who lobbed ice webbing in my face and gave me paralysis. Its ON sight with her.

#art #digitalart #F73comic
Digital sketch of a comic panel of pg 27, another upcoming page. Depicts firecat turning to check on her bestie’s status only to look horrified to see the deranged angry look on lightning’s face as she says “archi” in a venomous filled tone. A panel from PG6 on comic fury, this is of lightning getting hit with archi’s paralytic ice webs that freeze an area on impact. This causes lightning to tumble down from this.

Drawing Challenge! Figured id make it a little more different :>

#DrawingChallenge #ArtPrompt #art #digitalart #F73Comic #ocart #OCsky
CREATE YOUR EXPERIMENT: A fun little thing about the comic series is the interesting fact about animals being heavily transformed upon death. The transformation occurs when they die from a certain element of nature ex: death by lightning strike. It has a higher chance of occurring if it was a recent death and not when its hit a state of rigor mortis. The animal's soul is lost for a time unless the souls of the fallen gods resonate strongly with their soul, it then becomes compatible. Upon being compatible the soul of the fallen god and the soul of the fallen animal fuse, this then allows them to be brought back from death albeit altered IMMENSELY or in some rare instances only small alterations (ex: unsual eye colors). Upon revival they grow in size usually a x2 increase factor, they gain the abilities of the god that fused with their soul along with what type of element they died from (ex: lightning strike death gives contral of electricity and storms). Experiment numbers that are associated with what element they control: Numbers 1 through 10 have assigned elements, the last number digit is what determines what element they’re master/control. Example: #3 is electric so number #73 (assigned to my oc lightning) is a number that contains #3, she is electric element. *ANY ANIMAL IS ALLOWED, IT JUST NEEDS TO BE AN ANIMAL •YOU MUST PICK A PANTHEON TO WORK WITH " YOU CAN TRY TO INCORPORATE THE RESPECTIVE GOD/DEITIES LORE INTO THE ANIMAL'S POWERS • THEY CAN GAIN HUMAN FORMS • THEIR POWER MUST BE RELATED TO HOW THEY DIED "MUST CONTAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ANIMAL THEYRE BASED ON •HAVE FUN Note This will be a fun drawing challenge you aren't obligated to do this, whatever you end up designing you can keep, just know it will not be added to the comic. This is for funsies and to hone your designing skills. Digital sketchy illustration of a normal husky x wolf mix (wolfdog) vs her altered form (larger, x2 increase). Theres a human silhouette added for size comparison.
