YEP, I used to work on fiber optic networks where we had 512 ports configurable for FCoE, ethernet, FC, and other protocols. Switches were made by Brocade, Cisco, and others.

#MayWorldBuilders 14, Magic or Tech used for communication: I’ve already covered my version of an ansible. The rest is the same we use today but with slight upgrades. There’s a lot more Fibre Channel so FCoE is also more prevalent. One spot is using InfiniBand because I love it and why not.

In 2016 my wife and I started our fertility journey. First with some IUI attempts, then IVF after that.

iscsi. FCoE. Infiniband. Storage-over-nfs.
TCP over NVMe has an incredible perf/scale profile.
But FC over NVMe? Top tier.
Still… public cloud might be the arena in which the end of FC is decided.

I just remembered something kinda interesting talking to friends about Digital Devil Saga. A long time ago I worked with a friend on making cheats for the first game and he discovered the game had an overworld map you could actually walk around on.

I just remembered something kinda interesting talking to friends about Digital Devil Saga. A long time ago I worked with a friend on making cheats for the first game and he discovered the game had an overworld map you could actually walk around on.

My apologies: I had completely lost track of time. I thought his failure to achieve ordination in the CoE, followed by his ordination as a deacon be the FCoE was in 2021, rather than May & June 2022. Not really much of delay in those circumstances considering the usual interview.
