In July 2024, I reported that Coinbase appeared to be violating campaign finance law by making contributions while holding federal contracts. I filed an FEC complaint alongside @publiccitizen.bsky.social. The FEC hasn’t acted. Since, Coinbase has given $60M more and landed another federal contract.

What are the FEC implications of comping every uber ride in the state to a polling place?

Turley recently wrote that I was "sanctioned for hiding the funding of the infamous Steele dossier as a legal expense."

This is a lie. The FEC unanimously rejected the complaint against me. Here is the proof. It is on the FEC's website.

There have been 22 Super PACs formed after the reporting deadline for the FEC, Oct 15. These 'pop-up' PACs have been a growing strategy used to spend anonymous dollars in the last couple of weeks of the election, as we won't know where the money comes from until Dec 3.

California state Sen. Scott Wiener, his Dem congressional campaign & its coordinated super PAC are the subject of a complaint filed w/ the FEC on Friday by a former opponent.

One prob: the FEC can’t do anything.

I don;t know about Pelosi but FEC filings suggest Stevens had about 35 million reasons from AIPAC
October 30, 2026 at 9:44 PM
I love these takes.

"The getting money out of politics," starts and always ends with AIPAC, not fighting to reverse Citizens United v. FEC (2010).

"Healthcare for all" never addresses that systemic disparities and racism need to be addressed for this to happen.

But whatever.

Just recycling.
Being blamed for
-getting money out of politics
-getting money in your pocket
-and health care for all.

Supreme Court rulings—such as Citizens United v. FEC (2010)—have allowed corporations and Super PACs to spend unlimited sums on elections and political ads
November 2, 2026 at 7:11 PM
"[A]pparent shell corporations have accounted for the lion's share of the largest [AI] super PAC network's expenses during this year's election. The practice is a flagrant violation of [FEC] guidelines ... The FEC is short of the quorum that would allow it to take action on complaints[.]"
"[O]nly 5 percent of their direct expenditures have gone to contested general election races."

"The industry's avoidance of the contested races [...] suggest that the PACs have realized how the public has soured on the tech."
