#FEMA
Do you mean the same FEMA ywho has been gutted and weaponized by the same party you just endorsed because your feelings were hurt?

That FEMA?
No family should have to choose between paying their bills and finding a safe place to stay when the power goes out.

That’s why I’m introducing the Power Outage Family Assistance Act to help Michigan families access FEMA assistance during prolonged outages.

An estimated 6 million more homes face flood risks than FEMA’s maps suggest.
Not in a FEMA flood zone? Your home could still be at risk – and you could suffer more than your neighbor
Your home’s true flood risk is far more complex than FEMA flood maps reflect.

It's a shame we no longer have a working FEMA.

Part of the problem FYI is the guidance in most of these countries is three days which is ALREADY the FEMA guidance in the US and for much of the Carribean. They're bracing themselves for instabilities we're already used to.
It is WILD to see the fact 33 countries have issued “stockpile food and water” warnings not trending or getting wall to wall coverage in U.S. mainstream news.

They’re clearly trying to figure out how to tell the story without mentioning climate.

Exactly. And our state and local governments have to increase our taxes to pick up the slack. If we don’t have FEMA, education, snap, etc, why are we paying federal taxes? Cut the war machine.

And while using Jewish safety as a political prop, Trump's FEMA froze and underfunded the Nonprofit Security Grant Program in 2026 so badly that *over 77%* of NSGP applications protecting synagogues and nonprofits were rejected. Dems pledged to fully fund NSGP and probe white nationalist terror.

The coast of California is experiencing the intense effects of a super El Niño compounding the impacts of climate change, all while FEMA distances itself from its critical mission. @ucsshana.bsky.social breaks it down in her new blog:
