I was raised Celtic reconstructionist pagan and every time the vicar came into our school to talk I was too busy planning my wedding to my hot lesbian English teacher Mrs Bicknell to absorb much. I've read a lot of the high level theology since but I've still got no idea what this holiday entails

There's also just the theology. Obviously some Catholic stuff raises eyebrows, but 'sola scriptura' (believe only the Bible - ignore reason, the evidence of your own eyes etc) and 'sola fidae/sola gratia' (getting into heaven is unrelated to whether you do anything nice) are both pretty spicy ideas
