Had to phone #firstdirect today. They answered the phone in one ring - English (well UK) bassed call centres. Can't get better than that.

I've recently moved to FirstDirect and can use any post office to make deposits / withdrawals.
Been a long time since I've ever *needed* to go into a physical bank for anything. All applications, including mortgages, can be done online nowadays.

Hopefully, Just-Eat will not challenge the refund, but I will be curious to find out where the person ordered food to.

In banking surveys why does @firstdirect appear top (annoyed by their recent smug advert)
1) Annual statements don't work - bug
2) Only introduced PDF statements last year. Not available on PC - other organisations need this for ID checks
3) UI is dull and boring
