・「時代に即したウケる音楽を作ること」ってめちゃくちゃ難しい。分析力もマーケティング力も必要だし、それを音にするための技術力も要る。

・でも、それがすごく難しいからこそ、まず最初は「自分の好きな音楽を追求していく」しかないと思っている。

・そうやって自分の好きな音楽を突き詰めて突き詰めて…その果てに彼らの音楽がウケて売れて、結果として次の時代の音楽になったんですよね。

・それに時代に即した音楽を作れる人って、さっきの技術力ももちろんあるから、そこに自分の好きな音楽だって乗せられるんだと思うんです。どっちか片方だけって話じゃない。
