As an FM24 player who didn't get 26 the UI seems pretty familiar, didn't purchase yet because I have my 24 saved to finish off

- Daniel Fredheim Holm
- Ruben Yttergård Jenssen
- Thomas Kind Bendiksen
- Ronny Johnsen.
Hvem andre trenger jeg?

At this stage, I'd quite happily pay £5-10 for an #fm24 mod megapack which updates the gameworld, database and start date to August 2026

I think my judgement is based on the fact that FM26 was such a disaster - totally unplayable at release - but this one is playable, and feels a lot more familiar; like FM24 in a lot of ways, so I'm just happy to have a gave that I enjoy again.

The board giving Howe carte Blanche to reshape the club which mostly was "put my nephew in charge of scouting using his fm24 Brexit league only database and forcing out anyone who disagreed with him" coming home to roost

I am.. not sure. Admittedly I didn't touch FM26 because it looked (and was) a total disaster but this is such a jump from FM24. It could quite easily be me not liking change! Or it's still a bit of a WIP and I might wait until Xmas when the game has had a couple of patches to fix things.

I've got offered promoted jobs at Hendon and Redditch United - the latter I took with a £9k transfer budget, £4.2k wage budget and 15 real players.

And having played a couple more hours last night, I'm still enormously unimpressed by #fm27
It might be better than 26 but that is an unbelievably low bar. The right comparison is to FM24 and FM27 appears to be a major downgrade in multiple areas
Most obviously the skin / UI - it's still awful

And just a reminder that they've been working on this since before COVID, originally planning release for FM22
It might a "work in progress" and it might eventually get good but they seem to have taken 10 steps back and very, very slowly progressing towards catching up with FM24 #fm27

as it stands, no. It still feels like a massive downgrade on fm24. It might be better than 26 but that's the lowest bar I could possibly imagine
I'll probably play a bit tonight / tomorrow to see if I can get into it because I'd like to - but expectations are low

Just finished my first season with Gloucester City, and like a decade ago, was relegated. We lost 7 straight to start, and though we climbed out the bottom 4 twice, we didn't have stamina or bravery, and only got 4 points from 18 to finish 4 from safety in 22nd.

FM22 was the last that had me absolutely hooked, but I was unlucky to get sacked on both my FM24 saves a few months before we knew it was all over for the doomed 'FM25'. I really craved the change. I know many of you crave the return of trust and normality if those aren't broken for you.
