Frankie reflected on the need for change and for leaders to take leadership seriously, rejecting the idea that anyone is simply a “natural leader”.

With a vast number of verticals across the NHS, the College can provide the horizontal connection across this complex matrix. He emphasised the importance of engagement, trust and collective endeavour in making that work.
