I finished this holiday stocking for my great niece last night. Now, to cast on another for her big brother!
The pattern is Hjerterom by Arne & Carlos with some modifications. I did a corrugated rib cuff, changed the heel to a flap and turn and did my usual decreases on the toe.

I needed a swatch in the round, and the newborn hat was only a couple rounds more....
There is ribbing under the ruler.

I finished and seamed my first wiggly sample. Making a longer one for true scarf, needs 4 well matched skeins. This stitch eats a ton of yarn 🧶

It's still October, and I finished a friend's Christmas present! She admired other self-striping Christmas socks but is allergic to wool. I finally found cotton!

🧶 #FOFriday I coincidentally made a Halloween themed knit 😄 I wanted to make a cowl I could also use as a hat. I wanted to knit brioche with this yarn. At the end, the 3-needle-BO turned it into a ribcage, and it will be keeping my ears warm for the height of spooky season. #ShowMeYourKnits #KnitSky

A pair of handknit shortie socks. The have a heel tab that is formed by essentially working the same shape as a toe. Other than the work to make that tab, they have a standard slipper stitch heel flap and gusset construction. Yarn is a variegated purple.

I have two pairs of mitts for #FOFriday because when I had almost finished the 2nd mitt of the first pair, I realized it was significantly shorter than the first mitt. Solution? Knit another pair! 🧶
