Pretty much every anti-self dx argument I’ve seen falls flat on its face with a bit of scrutiny, but one line I see gatekeepers peddle is:
“You wouldn’t self dx cancer or diabetes, so why would you diagnose autism?”

Within Chuo is also the Nihonbashi Pokemon Cafe! Of all the themed cafes I've tried, this was undoubtedly the best in terms of food quality and entertainment. It was also the hardest to get reservations for!

Being on a diet and working right next to an in n out sucks. I don't even care for in n out, but having the smell of burgers and food in the air the entire time you're working makes me want to eat that much more Dx

Yes!! I avoided leftovers my whole life and thought I just had too many food safety twitches from working in the restaurant as a kid until I got the MCAS dx and All Made Sense.

you guys i had to bring our tiny cat to the vet this afternoon, she barfed up food w a hairball sometime this morning, then went upstairs and threw up a huge amount of water (for her) twice, and was drooling like crazy. she’s so small i knew she was dehydrated, they’re keeping her o/n to dx/help her

Y'all, i think my MIL has an ED... Since the cancer dx she's barely eating anything and trying to cure the cancer with her diet. She used to police our food when we visited her.
