UPDATE: Some public access to the Census Bureau's FTP server at ftp2.census.gov appears to be returning (at least via web browsers) as of 5:20 p.m. ET Tuesday, though some folders still appear to be inaccessible.

Please reply with any broken folders or missing files you find...

UPDATE: The Census Bureau's file transfer protocol (FTP) server — ftp2.census.gov, where many users download data — is "unavailable due to maintenance" as of 9:27 a.m. ET Monday, more than two days after users started reporting issues. I am waiting for an update from the bureau on what's going on...
The area of census.gov that you are trying to access is currently unavailable due to maintenance. We are working to have this area back online as quickly as possible. For assistance, please contact our Call Center at 1-800-923-8282.

4. UPDATE: The public remains "forbidden" and with no "permission to access" the Census Bureau's FTP server at ftp2.census.gov, one of the main ways for users to download public data, as of 9:57 a.m. ET Tuesday, while data.census.gov, another data platform, appears to still be accessible
Forbidden You don't have permission to access this resource. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

ftp2.census.gov is redirecting to www2.census.gov for me, and about half of the folders there are returning 403 errors. I see the error messages for three of the ACS folders (including the "latest data" one), as well as the incoming and outgoing folders.

#FTP2 will have to tackle all the old and new tactics for #ElectionTheft created by Trump and the GOP. These must override many of the tricks deployed by partisan Secretaries of State like targeted voter purges and voter disenfranchisement.

But first we must take the House to get the ball rolling.

Do you have the python-is-python3 package from the Debian repos installed? Python3 changes have been merged as far as I know.
