Another ABB fangirl here. Switched to them after Telstra told me they WERE moving me to FTTC, and offering to halve my speed for $10 more per month.
ABB offered me the same speed on FTTC as the HFC I was being moved from for less money per month.
When the FTTC shit the bed, they moved me to FTTP.

Nicht Kupfer sondern Koaxialkabel (Fernsehkabel) und das ist nach meiner Erfahrung ein noch viel größere Grütze als Kupfer da bis heute das Zeug instabil läuft.

L'emendamento 76.07 al Disegno di Legge di Bilancio 2025, introduce alcune misure per accelerare il passaggio dalle reti in rame alle tecnologie di banda ultra larga. Doppia beffa per gli utenti con ADSL e FTTC: navigano piano e rischiano di pagare di più.

This sounds tremendously dodgy. I suppose it's ftth and therefore limited, but the rest of your post suggests it's still FTTC.
