A drawing of a wangxian au. Fishermanji is shocked as a gigantic red-tailed merxian steals his cache of fish right in front of his face! merxian’s face is catlike and his jaws opened unnaturally large, he holds a started fish in his hands, about to eat it whole. A drawing of Merxian crawling out of the ocean, thinking about fish heads. He looks innocent with large gray eyes and his hair blows in the wind.

Merxian facial expressions!!! This was a really fun challenge for me :D

#FanArtofFanFic #mdzs #wwx #merxian
A drawing challenge where the artist is asked to draw 16 different facial expressions from “bitter” to “traumatized” to “furious”. The writing on the top says, “is your character angry? or are they…”. Merxian is drawn here with 16 varying expressions, often looking very catlike.

A-yuan and Wei Changze (human) and Cangse Sanren (mermaid)!

#FanArtofFanFic #mdzs #lansizhui #WeiChangze #CangseSanren
A cute little drawing of baby mer-creature A-yuan, looking terrified and in tears, dropped into the ocean. His little tail is swishing furiously and looks very soft. His arms are chubby, but his hands are more clawlike. A black and white drawing of human Wei Changze and mermaid Cangse Sanren sitting by the cold springs, holding their four merchildren in their arms. Baby Wei wuxian is smiling on the left, held in his father Wei Changze’s arm while he holds his wife in the other. The rest of his siblings are either trying to get out their mother’s arms or sleeping soundly.

Some extra Merxian doodles HAHA

#FanArtofFanFic #mdzs #Merxian
Merxian swallowing a fish whole with fishermanji looking on in a daze. A simple merxian sketch from the shoulders up. He has a tooth sticking out and his eyes are very big looking at the viewer. He has a fin where his ears would be on a human. His hair sweeps away from his neck and shadows his eyes. A drawing of a wet Merxian flipping off the viewer, half in the water. His mouth is large, sharp-toothed and is wide open as he yells “FUCK YOU, ANNOYING HUMAN!”

Two drawings of merxian. on the left, he is having his chin scratched by lwj’s hand and is looking very catlike. In the fic, merxian makes trills and sounds when he is happy, and it’s drawn here as music notes. On the right, Merxian is drawn from behind, half out of the water, resting on a rock, chowing down on a big blue fish that is definitely dead. But Merxian is happy and hearts are drawn around him. A drawing of Merxian slinking through the water, eating a fish. He looks up warily, like he doesn’t want to take his eyes off of the person out of frame. The fish looks pretty sad. Fishermanji holding a giant red-tailed Merxian over his shoulders. Lwj’s hair is braided, he wears fisherman’s clothing, his face is sweaty. The merman’s tail is twice as tall as Lwj, so Merxian is very shocked, yelling at Lwj in surprise that he is even able to carry him.
