Don’t know if you are curious about those types of things, but one of faneditors I follow closely (he has already done some amazing work on the OT trilogy and ROTS) is doing a fan edit of Rogue One to make it fit just a little bit more with Andor.

Likewise, I’ve heard talk about fan edits (there’s a subreddit for faneditors) but haven’t seen them use the term “fanvid”. Then maybe these are two distinct things?

Who needs AI when FanEditors do it better

so many faneditors seem to hate the shows and movies they're editing. try loving something for a change, and trying to see it in a different light, instead of spending your time trying to force some piece of art into being something for you when it was never meant for you
