Farmsitting for a friend and I turned it into a book revision boot camp.
My work would be so much better if I could afford a place like this. These walks sort out the jumble in my head in a way walks around my neighborhood just can’t.
Also you can’t beat the research assistants here. 🗃️

While I was changing careers I did some hobby farmsitting. Like, four horses, ten goats, four pigs, that level of farm, but the people were desperate for breaks. Even that was A LOT, but it pays well if your body can hold up to the work. I'm old enough now that shoveling pig shit is a no-go.

D’s farmsitting for a couple of days.
He ordered Chinese food last night and pan fried haddock with the works tonight.
I had a horrible packaged salad last night and frozen pizza tonight. 🙃

Ya know, I didn't know anything about the group's members! I just love their music. Thank you for getting me to take a deep dive! I had NO idea! And, I have seen this show a few times. Gotta go back and watch it again just for Ray 🤠🎶

Yeah, the house dog at friend's farm we were farmsitting brought home gooey remains of a dead pig it had thoroughly rolled in. That was a stench you never want to smell again, ever. 😱🤢

I'll be house/dog/farmsitting this weekend and I'm not sure if there will be a Gunbuster chapter this Monday. It's a long one and I might just take a week off. Or maybe not. Depends on how much I get done. Here's a blog post about an oddly named book.

Had a good time letting the three horses out into the pasture for turn-out. They had 25 minutes of turn-out and grazing, and 20 additional minutes of me channeling my inner persistence predator to halter them up and return them to their paddock track XD #farmsitting
