They do exist, and they love making their own little "opinionated" software realms in the FOSS space (which are generally terrible software), but have a knack for getting publicity for their stuff. See this post about fashtech:

This. There might be trivial cases where an LLM might feasibly be useful to me -- I can't think of any but I don't dismiss the possibility.
But much like with other fashtech like Bitcoin, no minor convenience outweighs the fundamental nature of the people pushing this stuff.

For a while it seemed that an insincere attempt to create alternate “fashtech” ecosystems. Turned out the easiest solution was to just take over all existing platforms!
