#CHRY Klarna secondary market value is c$15bn as per sources. If Featurespace is also sold for £700m, then #CHRY would have realisable cash of c £255m (£50m cash + £130m Klarna +£75m Featurespace) which means rest of the portfolio is in the books for £220m which is less than BV of Starling alone.

#CHRY.L Still a long way to go here and this does not include the impact of forthcoming £100m buybacks post Featurespace deal completion.

#CHRY Looks like the secretarial team at Featurespace have been working over the weekend to restructure share structure ahead of their anticipated takeover by Visa.
August 27, 2024 at 6:22 AM
#IPO New Purchase IP Group. They own 20% of Featurespace and had valued it in the books for c£350m. If the £700m takeover goes ahead then they make an additional £70m. Already very cheap vs NAV. Good time and price to get in imo. DYOR

#CHRY My target NAV is £1.77. I think its totally achievable in the next 12 months. If Klarna IPOs at $20bn and Featurespace is acquired it will provide more than sufficient cash for buybacks which would be further value accretive ( I haven't accounted for the impact of that)

Stars aligning here.

#CHRY.L Agreed a 2 year £70m facility with Barclays mainly to kickstart their £100m buybacks which should now commence anyday. This on top of the £80m expected from Featurespace sale will provide £185m worth of liquidity plus we have the Klarna IPO next year. The share price should be well supported
September 25, 2024 at 6:21 AM
#IPO.L bought back 900k shares yesterday at an average price of 41.7p. The pace of buybacks has certainly increased in the last few days. This buy back will generate significant value as they already operate on a 55%+ discount (the discount arguably will be higher if the Featurespace TO goes ahead).

Featurespace should be sold shortly which brings another £80m of cash

Market Cap £450m
Net cash: £50m
Speculation on Visa buying out Featurespace which could bring in £75m in cash. They are committed to buying back up to £100m with any cash in excess of £50m for WC.
Klarna IPO rumoured to be $20bn in the new year. If true brings in another £174m in cash.

#IPO.L is being relegated from FTSE 250 which explains a lot of selling over the last week or so. With aggressive share buybacks to continue into September and possible newsflow on Featurespace takeover by Visa, this is an extremely good set up. DYOR

#CHRY Ofcource buybacks will be value accretive at the current price and could add further to this discount. Obviously still two ifs in crystalising value on Featurespace and Klarna but it looks like the stars are aligning here. Target NAV =175p
Target SP =140p
Looking for 85% upside.

#CHRY we could very soon be in a postition where net cash if £300m vs £450m (mkt cap at 76p). The likes of Starling (book value £258m), Smart Pension (book value £125m), Brandtech (£82m), Deep Instinct (£45m) and other investments worth £100m could all be in the price for £150m or 75% discount to BV

#IPO.L NAV is now close to £11 vs £4.7 share price. A huge discount and £10m buybacks to go on the current program. Spending c£1m per week on buybacks atm. Featurespace deal should close soon (I beleive that is the exit in advanced stage discussions). Buybacks will continue for a long time.

#IPO.L buying back shares aggressively (c650k/day). The recent increase in the share price of #ONT is not even reflecting here yet. Solid update today from #TRX too. The Featurespace deal if/when it happens should give this a big boost.

#CHRY #IPO.L I wonder if the takeover by Visa is not on the table then why are Featurespace so actively sorting out their share capital structure in the last week?
August 29, 2024 at 7:24 AM
Next week is going to be key I think for the likes of #CHRY.L and #IPO.L

#IPO.L results on 17th of Sept. Would be interesting to see how they value Featurespace. Would the deal be announced around the same time? Possibly.

Expecting more news on the Klarna secondary share sale and valuation.
