I'm thinking water supply & road & rail bridges would be targets too...Got 3 bases in Suffolk and Felixtowe which make good targets...No one ever seems to put Civil in front of Defence... But Suffolk will be ready!

I'm thinking water supply & road & rail bridges would be targets too...Got 3 bases in Suffolk and Felixtowe which make good targets...No one ever seems to put Civil in front of Defence... But Suffolk will be ready!

Knowing nothing about photography and not much more about nature I bought a Nikon bridge camera in April and began taking nature pictures in the Felixtowe area. These are my favourites of 2024. Amur Stonechat at Trimley NR, Fallow Deer stag and late evening Brown Hare at Kirton, Linnet at Landguard

Fast forward 50 years from the photo of Weymouth Quay, the size of the containers and the motive power have certainly moved on. Recorded on 7 April 2010 No 66730 is at Felixtowe North with the 10.59 service to Hams Hall. www.crecy.co.uk/british-rail...

Felixtowe today, I've had a difficult week and the sea always soothes me. You can see the derelict peir and in the far distance the cranes of the biggest container port in the country. You can sit on the beach and watch ships go in and out. 😊
