#Felons
Restoring felons' right to vote is a GOOD THING, people.

Most felons aren't Donald Trump. Most felons are people of color convicted of nonviolent crimes and overcharged.

Possession of marijuana? In many states, a felony. Driving without a license? In many states, a felony.

That's right: a state of Felons would have ten electoral votes. More Americans have been arrested than have graduated college, ffs.

Taking away felons' right to vote isn't being tough on crime. It's voter suppression. And you're all too carceral brained and propagandized by law and order to see it.

The problem with Trump isn't that he's a felon. I have friends who are felons. In Illinois, refusing to disperse during a protest is a felony. Shoplifting more than $500 is a felony. Lots of really good people are felons. Hell, it would probably be possible to convict YOU,

Interesting. Last I checked, which was just now, felons can vote in TX.

Never understood the "convicted felons should lose rights" argument. Either they served their given punishment or were rehabilitated and released back to society, which means they should be given back the full rights of citizens, or we need to acknowledge that just jail itself isn't fixing felons.
