Yes I know curly whiskers can be a sign of FeLV but he has zero other symptoms and his vets have cleared him :)

Ah shit. A cat from Meg and Sabine's colony tested positive for FeLV today. FeLV isn't widely common here - the vet said he hasn't seen it in 8-9 years.
Meg and Sabine are returning to the rescue ASAP for testing.
Cross everything for negative results.

Ash would’ve been snatched up immediately but he has feline leukemia (FeLV) so he can’t be in a house with non-FeLV+ kitties.
These cats have more trouble getting adopted, but as my own FeLV+ girl can tell you, they’re totally worth it ❤️

This is Joey. He’s about 2 years-old and FeLV+. Joey just showed up in an apartment complex parking lot in Elk Grove, CA. A good Samaritan, Tran, took him to the Elk Grove Animal Shelter to get neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. He tested positive for FELV.

Because of his FeLV status, Midnight needs to either be the only cat in the home or live only with other FeLV+ cats. Because of his compromised immunity, he will need to be indoor only from now on. Cats like Midnight can still live amazing, healthy lives even with this disease.
