One major difference is that only a small percentage of American feminists are TERFs and even they often try to hide it. While MANY British feminists are TERFs and are out and proud about it. (Even if they don’t like to use the term.)

In 2026 it just doesn’t work. Apart from anything else a very high percentage of western 16 year old girls in the 2020s are very ardent feminists which just fundamentally changes how her classmates would react
