If MayDay and CincodeMayo are not your thing, how about The Feast of San Domenico in Cocullo, Italy? It is also known as the FestivaloftheSnakes (FestadeiSerpari). The procession is in early May. As they have for nearly a thousand years, villagers carry the statue of San Domenico, covered in snakes.
