June marks the Geographical Association's National Festival of Fieldwork - there are lots of ideas for how to get involved here! #geographyteacher #geography #NationalFestivalofFieldwork #FestivalofFieldwork @stevebracegeog.bsky.social

Year 7 Geography students have been developing their fieldwork skills. They were challenged to find microclimates on the school site. They drew field sketches and used anemometers to measure differences in wind speed and temperature.

We’re supporting this year’s Geographical Association Festival of Fieldwork 🎉In June we’ll be:
📍 Mapping our learners using GIS
📸 Capturing fieldwork in action
🏅 Celebrating participation

We can’t wait to see our shared map grow and show the power of fieldwork in geography.
