Developer says proposed data center will use dry closed-loop cooling; estimates 30,000–50,000 gallons/day for potable and irrigation
Chris McKee of CRG told the JCWA board the proposed data center will use a dry closed-loop cooling system, meaning limited ongoing cooling water demand, and estimated potable and landscaping use at about 30,000–50,000 gallons per day; CRG said it will cover engineering costs via a reimbursement agreement and set aside land for a storage tank to meet fire-flow needs.
