From a person coming from Sound Devices 744T and looking for a new recorder, is the MixPre 6-II good? I've heard about XLR-connectors getting stuck for example and wondered if anyone has any solid thoughts/findings over the device? Yay/Nay?

Kannst dir gerne mal meinen ausleihen.

Check out Fieldrecorder.
Might look like overkill, but you can use only the basic functions and ignore the rest.
