What do I do if I cant put the cam nearer to the film-carrier (physically and w. zoom) bc the focus fails everytime i go nearer.

Is this a technical limitation?

So trying to scan film at home is an absolute pain. Keeping the film and camera exactly level is the worst part, before we even get into the <1mm depth of field. Lens is still good but yikes

I upgraded my film-scanning setup with a 2nd hand durst c-35 (6euros on willhaben) which i modified as a camera stand and my 10-ish years old 4MP digicam :3

scanning film is hard tho if u dont have the right tools (i scanned these on a standard canon pixma, no film-mask, no backlight)

Finally working on this thing again! It's my 120 holder for the Epson V700-V850 scanners. While we have holders for 4x5 and 5x7, 120 has been often requested but the design is one I haven't been super happy with yet. Hoping to remedy that!

The film is scanned and sleeved, EXIF tags are added to the files, and development data is added to my database. At this time I'd usually run through the photos and mark those I'd like to clean, edit, and upload, maybe even print some day.
