I love putting little vignettes into Epic-scale minis & terrain (get your glasses out! 😄):
- Day in the life of a squig farm
- Barrel donkey-kong with Orks
- Androids guard an artillery column
- Ork Bikeboy pulls a wheelie

A less spooky but really just more dirty and dusty Vampire Counts army.
The scariest part was trying to carve the front of metal helmets out and fitting in skulls! (Never again 😅)

Probably the oldest figure in my collection- a Heritage Models barbarian from the mid 70s. I rebased and repainted her a few years ago for use in Frostgrave. #FindFolkFridays #Nerdlings

Pre-Heresy World Eaters. These are from early 00s, before FW started doing Heresy so are all made from converted bits. Cat doctor, the miniatures that drove a subset of the Infinity community mad. 'The Flying Rancor', re-painted YT freighter for X Wing All-female Human team for Dreadball.

This comes into the 'never again' category of complicated! Attempting to evoke the old Epic Space Marine box art, I had to add the marines and paint them in layers to be able to get to them.
The medic is there to pick up the pieces of the squished marines!

Must resist temptation to post Orks. Instead here are (I guess sea green/turquoise?) Scouring-era Sons of Horus
#nerdlings #findfolkfridays
Sons of Horus veteran clutching a bolter and holding an ammo belt. Sons of Horus marine holding a shotgun and pistol. Barren planes in the background. A sons of Horus marine with multi-melta. Fires burn in the background. A Sons of Horus Centurion with stern impression. A wolf pelt rests on his shoulders and he is drawing a brightly lit sword.

Years ago I made a Blood Dragon Vampire army that was entirely converted from undead + empire metals & bretonnian bits. Think I lost a few finger tips filing out metal helms to fit skulls in!
#nerdlings #findfolkfridays
Undead knights: a mix of undead, Bretonnian and the 'grail knight' miniatures The Blood Knight Vampire Lord. Think he was a mix of Chaos Lord & Space Wolf bits The Undead Host. From memory they lost every game! Sold the army some years ago so hopefully it is still out there and getting some use!

Some rarer & unusual bits from my Epic collection: tiny 3mm marines, an old forumware metal fellblade, steam gargants & Rangdan cerbiovores and mind slaves!
#nerdlings #findfolkfridays
3mm scale Blood Angel marines, pictured next to a 50c piece An old metal Forumware Fellblade. I was once kicked out of a group of *extremely* secretive garage casters for trying to get more of these! Ork steam gargants, again forumware An attempt at the 'Rangdan' & their mind slaves. I had to track down the mini sculptor for some of these which took some doing!
