Back between somewhere in 2001 and 20005 I used to work for my university's radio show as it's weekly metal dj. One week got a Finnish band that was nearly life-changing for me, a single of: Fintroll "Trollhammeren."
Why it's special. It's humpaa/Finnish polka and metal. And it's catchy.

For the record I was looking for a specific article about a Christian protest group trying to have a festival banned but this is fine too.

Joke's on you, I mostly listen to metal, which means it's harder to name a band that isn't from Finland, lol.
Nightwish, Children of Bodom, Fintroll, Korpiklaani, Ensiferium, Lordi, Wintersun, Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, To/Die/For, Impaled Nazarene, Eternal Tears of Sorrow...

Day 12: Band that begins with an 'L'
So here's a thing. I'm not REALLY a black metal fan per se---I do like Arkona, Gorgoroth & Fintroll---but I am a Normanni Heathen & Landvaettir is a NORMAN pagan metal band.
We are drinking from a common well.

Some of my favorite folk metal bands are Eluveitie, Fintroll, and Helsott, I think they'd be a good place to start!

I heard of Fintroll ages ago, but never got around to checking them out. I'm glad to have done so now, you weren't kidding! Black metal isn't my go-to subgenre, but man, that final minute of the song is excellent.

Na Tarju s Marcem jsem chtěla taky jít, ale pro nás je to tak mega daleko a v Plzni jsem byli nedávno (muž na Fintroll a já na Nepleše naživo s Amébou), že si další takový výjezd prostě nedáme 🥲
Neboj, není to napořád, bude líp a zase budeš chodit, kam budeš chtít ❤️ ale teď to mrzí, no... 😞
