finished editing 20.5 minutes of the Hotter Fire 'N Freezing Ice part 2 playthrough, and I have 3 hours of the VOD left to edit. Should come out in under a week hopefully! #firenice #hotterfirenfreezingice #hfnfi

finished editing like 80/320 minutes of the raw VOD for my next video, and it's currently 17 minutes long, so part 2 of my Hotter Fire 'N Freezing Ice playthrough will be around 68 minutes or so. #firenice #hfnfi #romhack #videoediting

Oh I know it's been a while since I last posted my progress on Lava 'N Snow so here's a video showcasing all of the things I've made in Lava 'N Snow (my Fire 'N Ice (NES) fangame) so far: youtu.be/9kEw3IuZW8s

This will likely take days to weeks to get all in one run without any major mistakes. I can get close to ZodaNOR, but it takes me a lot longer. My goals are: sub hour, then beat ZodaNOR's FWR 59:55, then a run with all 4 fast routes. #fni #firenice #sk2 #solomonskey2 #snk2 #solomonnokagi2 #speedrun

I made a feed for Fire 'N Ice (NES) that searches for the hashtags: #firenice #solomonskey2 #solomonnokagi2 #snk2 #druidle, as well as these as phrases (Fire 'N Ice, Solomon's Key 2, Solomon no Kagi 2, & Druidle), so this post is both to test if the feed works and let people know I made it.

Took a while to figure it out, but I now have a reliable way to record and emulate Fire 'N Ice, so I can do as many speedruns and edited videos as I want now! I should still prioritize finishing my fangame for now though, but this is great news. Hooray for retroarch! #fni #speedrun #firenice #snk2

The screen recorders I've tried to use all lag out my NES emulator, so I can't do speedruns without either finding a less laggy emulator / timer, or just continuing to point a camera at the game, which is annoying because of the low quality. This is devastating.

I just got a new computer that I can use for running Fire 'N Ice (NES) and recording it at a higher quality for christmas, so when I'm not busy working on my fangame, I'll be able to do some good speedruns! #fni #snk2 #sk2 #speedrun #christmas #nes #retrospeedrunning #present #firenice #solomonskey2

Look at this fan art of the umbrella enemy from Fire 'N Ice (NES)! He will appear in 2-10 of my FNI fangame Lava 'N Snow, and the demo including this level will come out in January 2026.

The first demo for Lava 'N Snow (my Fire 'N Ice (NES) fangame) will be "done" January 8th, and I'll probably release it shortly after so I have time to do any last minute bugfixes and changes. When it's out, you can play it at cuteblimp.com/lns.

Okay since #fni and #sk2 are taken up by other people using the hashtag for non-Fire 'N Ice reasons, and #firenice is used by a bot that keeps posting Speedrun WRs in Fire 'N Ice, we should use #snk2 (short for Solomon no Kagi 2) for FNI posts since it's short and currently unused.
