#BerniceLMcFadden is a talented writer. I have been enamored with her books ever since reading #Sugar. #FirstBornGirls is so relatable, especially if you are a first born girl and I L🫶🏾VE the history interwoven into this memoir. 📚🎧

I finally finished #FirstBornGirls by Bernice L. McFadden and I can’t fathom her receiving rejection letters on a weekly basis declaring she didn’t have what it takes to be a writer. This memoir was a worthy read and written with an abundance of thoughtfulness. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
